KOREA TRIP JUN 2014 - DAY 8 PART II

Part II of day 8 is here!

So after walking around the palaces, we left Changyeonggung via bus (which I cant rmb what number. We asked for directions from information counter) to Insadong!

Almost all the shops have their shop names in Korean! Even all the Cosmetics shops and Starbucks!

Once we enter Insadong, we chanced upon GyeongHo Galbi! I rmb reading from blogs about this hence we went in!

We just had 2 portions and left, saving space for other food. I wont say the bbq is super nice but above average. *shrugs*

Ssamziegil 쌈지길 !

The poop cake! I dont rly like red bean filling but everyone have this when in Insadong so here it is!

Ugly dolls! Long time no see!

Alive museum is at Insadong too!

The heirs owl!

Bro with cartoon cat haha.

Besides locks and tiles, there's this too! Pretty ornament but idk whats it called! The banner just means Love's wall.

Rly artistic place!

Chicken skewer! Not cheap actually. I think its 2000won?

And then we took a long long walk to Samcheongdong. I actually planned to go on another day but since we ended early so I decided to go there instead. But I did not include the way to go there from Insadong. Hence we just asked along the way. Asked the police as there were many of them around that area. Not sure why too. But so many of them.

After a long walk, we finally reached Samcheongdong! We were tired from walking and thirsty so we stopped at the first cafe at Samcheongdong for a break!

Mocha and green tea latte and crepe cake!

The crepe cake is rly good! Better than Lady M.

What a pretty cafe! Nice to chill out!

Then we explored Samcheongdong. Many wall murals and cafes. As well as Buchon Hanok village where Personal Preference was filmed.

Korean traditional houses!

It's sunset! Sunset is rly late in Korea in summer! Around 8pm!

Then we left Samcheongdong, walked towards where the King Sejong Statue is!

Walked past this building which we found quite photo worthy! IIRC, it's a govt building.

Gyeongbokgung

Visited the washroom at this parade square where there were so many police. My bro said the gents was filled with 20+ police. Safest place ever. HA.

Running man was here! Sejong theatre.

Story of King Sejong. It's free admission and we actually spent quite a bit of time here! Esp the Admiral Yi Sun Shin part. Which piggy is so excited about cos of Age of Empire.

Turtle Mosaic.

Tada.

Writing our names in Korean haha.

Running man was here finding Haechi!

Hangul.

Finally came out of the underground gallery.

Kind Sejong! This is lk a must take photo. Teehee.

Last stop, cheonggyecheon stream! Rly pretty place to chill! Where we soak our feet to rest and relieve the ache. Which actually dint rly help haha.
