And so, I gotta know about Singapore Day the day I flew to SH via SQ. And finally, it was Singapore day!
It was held at Century Park, which is pretty nearby German Centre! It was just 1 stop away iirc, and walking distance from one of the exits from The Sci and Tech Museum.
Supposed to meet Hui there and hes supposed to reach early but got stuck in a jam.
At the entrance of Century Park. Otw to where the event was, I could hear many people speaking in the familiar language, Singlish. <3
This reminds me of TW haha.
Century Park was rly big and pretty!
It was a long walk in! And the first place I went to was food as I was hungry haha. There was free flow of food, each of tasting portions. I went to q for hokkien mee first. But well, it wasn't nice. I think the fact that they flew the ingredients over made it very costly and they got some ingredients locally. As I was alone, I dint have hands to take photos of the food haha. Yong Xin Hokkien Mee! I rmb I had it at Ion Food Opera too!
Various q for food!
Wings!
I had the BKT there too! And they were so generous to give 3 spare ribs!
Prata stall.
Flip flip!
There were also exhibitions to update overseas Singaporeans about the education, NS etc issues. And Greendale Sec was there to introduce their programme. They had one where they went for kayaking kinda activities and train survival skills!
Many Singaporeans in China. There was even a Singaporean lady who came all the way from Guangzhou! She q behind us for Stingray I rmb, and she was super friendly and funny.
Leaving the SG Day event.
It was after I came back that my Director told me her son was at the event as helper. Lol. I guessed they rly spend alot of money to flew people over. Oh and there was performances too! Celebrities singing.
Then we left to head to Dapuqiao station where Hui meeting his parents to go back to Suzhou. While waiting, we went for Matcha!
Nice cafe but we dint go in.
Tsujiri!
I had the Parfait! I liked it so much! Haha. Then when I came back, I realised SG has outlets too! LOL.
Then I decided to head back to head back to Chang Tai to have dinner before going back.
There are many Korean cafes and fashion stalls! CNBLUE!
Haha some deco, but it wasn't for any festival.
I had some popcorn chicken dish from caffebene. Came with Kiwi, Oranges and salad. Feeling healthy #selfdenial
Speaking of which, I walked past the first caffebene in SG earlier today! Haha. #random
Just to show the interior, not meant so stalk people ok, haha. The interior of caffebene outlets have similar concept in KR, SH and SG!
Caffebene endorser was Kim Soo Hyun then! Took to show mummy haha.
And then, Part 2 of my Korean food craze, Mango Six!
Took this to show mummy haha. Ji Sung! MangoSix sponsored Kill Me Heal Me too.
And The Heirs!
My entrance ticket to SG day haha.
Their Signature! Mango coconut! It was good <3 Though I though Mango Coconut sounds more Thai to me? Haha.
The exterior! Can someone please bring this in SG!
And thanks to piggy who got me snacks from SG! And thanks to Hui for delivery it to me haha.
Ok, I've about 2 third done for my SH travelogue I think! I've alot of photos but alot of them are very random and not worth a blogpost haha. So I've just choose those more significant ones to write about!
Hopefully, I can start on TW soon! But the photos are rly messy -.- Too many cameras around haha.
