London Fat Duck @ Waterway Point

It's the first time going for check up on a Sat morning! Piggy woke up early for once on a weekend to accompany me for check up. Aww.

So after check up, we went for lunch at Waterway Point. Decided to try London Fat Duck since the queue wasn't that long. And Piggy said he wanted to try even before the Waterway Point outlet was opened lol.

We got 2 double combination rice, where we can choose 2 out of 3 of the roast meat to go with the rice. Since Duck is supposedly the star, both of us got the Roast Duck, while I had the roast Pork Belly and Piggy got the Char Siew.

My Roast Duck and Roast Pork Belly rice. This for more than 10 bucks.

The Roast Duck was okay.. But devoid of meat, Out of the 6 or 7 slices I was given, 2 of them had only bones and skin and a thick layer of fats. Even the remaining slices had abit of meat, it was minimal. And look at the portion of Roast Pork Belly. 6 small slices, that wasn't spectacular.

The only item that they were generous with was the dry and not-fragrant-at-all rice. Even the sauce was so pathetic.

Piggy's Roast Duck and Char Siew rice. Portion was slightly better, but still, wont be back again.

We also had the Pandan Salted Egg bun. Was disappointed by the size when it came. So much smaller than my fist! Much smaller than the Tim Ho Wan Cha Siew Polo bun.

Look at the frown haha.

The filling was better than the other buns already. No, the liu sha did not liu. And one of it we ate had so little custard, tasted more like a thin Kaya spread on bread.

This was the first dish served actually, but we had it last since it's sweet. Extremely small, the size formed by my thumb and finger. Ya, that small. Probably the only dish that din't disappoint, but it dint wow me too.

Oh and I rmb the peanuts were $3! I could buy a 250g packet from NTUC! #beinganauntie

Bye London Fat Duck, you're off my list.
