Korea Trip June 2017 Day 3 Part 1 ~ Suncheon Open Film Location | 순천 드라마 촬영장

Day 3 started early as usual as we have 3 attractions to complete in a day. That's also the public holiday, the Memorial Day, which I was expecting crowds, but turned out to be not too crowded.

Rain was forecasted since weeks ago when I checked the weather forecast. And it indeed rained for more than half a day.

Starting the day with breakfast in the guesthouse!

There's cereal, toast with strawberry jam and cheese and hard boiled eggs.

Had toasts with cheese and strawberry jam. The design of the Ottogi jam is quite cool. Just fold it into half and squeeze.

Had a hard boiled egg and cereal before setting off.

We met another SG tourists at the breakfast table who were very friendly and helpful. They recommended the attractions shuttle bus and shared the details with us. So, after breakfast, we set off to Suncheon station for the shuttle bus.

The shuttle bus cost 6000krw and we're free to hop on and off the bus. The bus, which is more like coach, comes and leaves at fixed timing hourly.

Once on board, the piggies are back to being piggy. Tsk.

Just a short ride to the first stop, Suncheon Open Film Location!

Some dramas which are filmed there.

And yes, including running man! The future Ddakji episode with Ji Jin Hee and Ji Sung as guests.

Ticketing counter.
Tickets at 3000krw each.

Finally entered!

We went very early, one of the first groups to visit haha. So we had the luxury to take photos of the empty set.

At the front of the theatre where the Running Man members gather when they travelled back time.

Olden days school.

Sitting down again lol.

Walked uphill towards this old 50s 60s housing area.

The olden countryside filming set.

BCX and piggy walked up to explore while the rest of us waited there.

Pavilion square where the Koreans like to chill haha.

The interior of the houses.

One of the movies filmed there.

Continued exploring the rest of the Filming Set.

It's still pretty empty as we took the bus that left at 9am. Think we only spent an hour there and caught the next bus to our second attraction, the Suncheon National Garden.

They even made use of the set and set up a eatery! Haha.
Typical street food served.

And that sugar & baking soda candy, Ppopgi.

A museum housing the list of movies and dramas filmed in this film set.

The 50s village set up.

Wefie!

Ok, dint mean to take photos of ours but they just stood there too long for me to wait till they leave haha.

Map of this Suncheon Open Film Location!

So we only spend about an hours and left the Film Location via the next shuttle bus timing to the second attraction, the Suncheonman Bay National Garden!
