Bangkok Trip Oct 2016 Day 6 ~ After You, Siam Discovery Centre, JJ Green

Day 6 started with me leaving early to hit the Pratunam Morning Market! Though dint buy much in the end.

Then I went back to our room to offload my loot and left with Janel for brunch at Paragon!

For After You Shibuya Toast!

Was still early (before lunch time on a weekday) so the place wasn't full.

Placed our orders and waiting for our toasts!

Janel's fav maple syrup.

Her tea, which I forgot what tea it is.

Very sporting to post for me to take photo haha.

My Matcha Latte! I rmb it being not too sweet!

We had an Original Shibuya Toast each. Not baby sized LOL!

After our sinful brunch, we strolled around Siam Centre and Discovery Centre as usual.

Discovery Centre changed quite a bit when we were there agn in Jan 2018, esp the top levels! More inhabited!

The rather unique design structure at Discovery Centre.

Absolutely love the washroom here at level 1! Better than the one at Siam Centre!
Technically not a washroom but the room just outside the washroom.

Too bored so spam selfie!

Then, we headed to JJ Green Night Market! First time there.
Took BTS to Mo Chit and cut through the park.

Chatuchak Park is pretty big actually! With a lake in the centre.

Finally arrived after quite a long walk!

As it was still early around 530pm, most stalls are not ready for business yet.

Lots of food options around, more than our recent trip!

Since the shops are not opened yet, we decided to rest and have our dinner first.
A&W for Janel and Cola for me to quench our thirst under the weather!

Shared a Grilled Pork Neck.

Crabmeat Fried Rice with Omelette for me! The few times when I have rice are mostly in BKK!

Mama noodles with Fishcakes and Minced Pork for Janel.

By the time we're done with our dinner, most stalls were ready for business!

Fried Chicken Skin which Janel raved about. And even Mum agrees that it's nice haha.

Pretty spacious and organized night market!

One corner of it was of the antique theme.

Food section sandwiched between the night market. Fret not if you are hungry while shopping! No need to walk back to where the food section is!

After shopping around, we took the BTS back to Siam area. While walking back from the Platinum Mall area, the stalls outside Platinum Mall were opened for business!
They were setting up the stalls the first few days we were there and opened on our 6th day! And it was still there when we visited again in Feb 2018!
