Europe Trip Sep/Oct 2019 Day 3 Part 2 ~ Mostar Old Town, Sniper Tower, Mepas Mall, Split

Our lunch at Mostar.

Trying Bosnian coffee, served with Turkish delight.

Having Kebab, pita bread and Baklava. Wanted to try the Baklava since it's pastry based dessert, but I just find Turkish food too sweet for my liking. Like too sweet in a flat manner without much depth in taste profile.

After our lunch break, we continued walking around the area. We walked towards a house which was designed to retain the Ottoman architecture of a super rich merchant and transformed into a hostel now. Gotta pay entrance fee for this but we did as we had lots of time to spare.

As I was too afraid of entering but Piggy rly wants to explore, we decided to split up. He walked be back to the hotel and I walked around Mepas Mall, while he headed back to Sniper Tower to explore.

After he's done exploring, we met back at Mepas Mall and settled dinner before catching the bus to Split.

We ended up having Macs for dinner as there isnt much options and its like comfort food?

Decided to have salad with McChicken patty.

And shared another set which I cant rmb what it is lol.

After dinner, we went back to hotel to collect our luggage and head to the bus terminal for our late bus ride.

It wasn't a direct bus and had to change bus at some super ulu terminal. I almost wanted to visit the washroom there but it looked pretty scary (like those in criminal thriller dramas where murders/ kidnapping takes place) lol so I decided against it.

We arrived at Split at midnight and went str to the apartment. Luckily, our host stayed up to help us with the luggage and showed us the way up to the apartment. This is where Piggy likes most amongst all our accom this trip!
