Korea Trip Apr 2019 Day 3 ~ Mangwon, Haneul Park, Gimpo Lotte Mall

Rise and shine day 3 - getting to Seoul!

At Busan station

Where we had breakfast.

Actually, we just had coffee there lol and had our KK donuts and Samgak Kimbap from Lotte the day before.

Took the KTX to Seoul.

And went str to leave our luggage at the Seoul apartment, right opposite Seoul station. We had to leave our luggage at the real estate agency downstairs as the room isnt ready.

We took a bus to Mangwon, wanted to try the famous Crazy Katsu.

Was quite a walk from the bus stop, but we took time to explore around.

Many cafes around the area but many are closed on a Monday.

Just when I thought we finally found Crazy Katsu, there was a long q!

So, we decided not to waste time queuing but just find food somewhere else. Just pop by some local restaurant for some Katsu and Odeng!

After lunch, we continued walking around..

The Ugly Bakery that I've seen on IG and got some bakes here.

Long long flight of stairs~ think was like 291 steps?

Overdressed for the weather (and climb) lol.

Tada! At the top of 291 steps!

This was actually one of the options for photo taking!

After exploring around the park, we took the subway to Gimpo - Lotte Mall again!

Wanted to come here the last time we came to pass time while waiting for our domestic flights, but we were too early. But this time round, we came here for Ssueim!

There were some items which we wanted from the website but were not available there. Unfortunately, we din't have time to visit other outlets. so we just made do with what's available. We bought our stuff and left it there while exploring around the mall and had our dinner since it was damn heavy and bulky.

Think we had LA Galbi and Pork Bulgogi set!

After dinner, we lugged the loots back. Was contemplating to cab back not but not too sure where the taxi stand is. Instead of risking going around looking for the taxi stand, we decided to just train back since there's direct line.

Even though hands were full, I cant miss the chance to take this photo! That pretty much explains why there were so many Koreans when we went Croatia!
