Victoria Trip Aug 2018 Day 5 Part 2 ~ Memorial Cross, Mount Macedon Trading Post, Sanatorium Lake, Macedon Ranges Walking Trail, Uni Hill Factory Outlets, Yarra Valley Lodge

Was supposed to be super excited about the upcoming trip today as we're set to fly to NZ tomorrow. However, life is turned upside down due to Covid19, not sure when we can set out life as per normal and go on a vacation :(

We dropped by Memorial Cross after Hanging Rock.

So foggy!

Looks more clearer in this photo though.

Just after taking a few photos, we left for lunch *finally*

Mount Macedon Trading Post

Quite an interesting cafe! Notice the Robert Gordon Hug Me Mugs which we bought back!

Salmon Quiche

I think this is Scrambled Eggs Bacon Ciabatta.

Carrot cake with coffee!

The nursery near by, which we went into some of them.

This looks like morning glory.

The small potted plants.

Next stop, Sanatorium Lake.

Macedon Ranges Walking Trail

Pretending to be scared.

That looks more tired than scared...

There was a barrier though, so idk what the sign was for lol.

Too windy..

Cos we were still early, we drop by the Uni Hill Factory Outlets.

Pretty empty, given is a wkday night. But it's pretty near RMIT University Bundoora Campus.

Bed Bath and Table where we bought the only set of the bath accessories.

But besides this, theres nothing much that caught our interest.

Had Thai Food for dinner again.

Seems like a pretty popular place!

We had satay beef, yellow curry pork and tom yum.

After dinner, we drove to Yarra Valley Lodge. The moon was huge (though the photo was damn blurry due to the movement)

The drive in towards the reception of Yarra Valley Lodge was pretty long from the entrance. N it's quite dark with Kangaroos hopping ard! Gotta be rly careful when driving.

Yarra Valley Lodge reception!

We got a big room to ourselves! 2 double beds!

They claimed that this is luxury bath set. Which is a legit brand online actually lol.

I recalled that they have a complimentary bottle wine in every room.

Room service menu.

My usual strawberries for post dinner desserts and chips! I always hv chips when travelling but dont get to eat them often usually.
