Korea Trip Jun 2014 - Day 4

It's day 4! First full day in Busan. To start of the day, we had breakfast at Tom and Toms Coffee just opposite TowerHill! You cant go hungry staying at Towerhill cos u'll be surrounded with food!

Our breakfast to share!

Now I can't wait to go Bkk to have Tom and Toms again! I rmb there's an outlet at Palladium mall!

On the way to Haedong Yong Gung Sa.

Simply take the subway and alight at Haeundae Station. Take Bus 181 and alight at the 19th stop.

There's a 10 mins walk up the slope. Luckily the weather was nice, windy and not sunny. If there weather is as hot as Singapore now, I'll definitely curse and swear! The entire day was cloudy, looks like it's going to rain but it din't!

Bro and his Hoddeok. I miss the hoddeok. ):

Us with our zodiac sign.

Pardon my hair please. It was SUPER windy.

Trying my very best to hold my hair in place.

Ok, so after this photo I gave up taking photos. Whats the point in taking photo when my hair is all over my face! ><

The wind blows my hair back! Oh my forehead...

Ya I know we look alike.. My mum laughed and said we looked alike. But it's cute isn't it!

Tried our best to make a wish and throwing coins. But our coins were no where near the bowls. :(

Next stop, Haeundae Beach! Taking the same bus back from the bus stop opposite where we alighted.

The sky looks threatening isn't it! But it dint rain at all!

The beach was rly quite empty as the weather is still chilly and windy. Koreans really dress well even when they go to the beach. In Jeans and shoes. All of them. We were the only ones in shorts and slippers and the Koreans were staring at us when we're on the trains. So, from that day onwards, no more slippers haha!

Haeundae Market

We settled for lunch at one of the restaurants further day from the market. We walked around the area and finally decided on this place. We were the first customers as they just opened. I rly like their style where all prices are nett price and water is free flow!

This is the only fried chicken we had throughout the trip! Although there's a famous outlet opened by Cultwo near Towerhill and there's an outlet just below our apartment in Seoul. There're many Korean Must-Eat which we din't try or only tried once during our 15 days trip :(

The view from the restaurant.

Next stop is... Centum City for Spaland!

In Spaland, we only went to the Sauna areas as we're too shy to enter and use the hot bath. (you got to be naked) So we just went into different themed Sauna rooms to sleep haha.

With the lamb head towel!

Where RM were! Kicking the DIY Chapteh.

After Spaland, we explored around Centum City. There's this ice skating rink behind the food court. The kids are such promising skaters!

Walking around in Shinsegae.

Atas and pretty food market!

Such pretty veggies!

SWEETS!

Then we set off to the last stop of the day - Gwangali Beach! The walk towards the beach was rather long and dark.. but we managed to find our way after asking a kind ajumma.

Saw this otw and bro took a photo as a momento.

We decided to settle our dinner at one of the shops leading to the beach. Been wanting to eat Budae Chigae! But bro dislikes it.. But the kind ajumma gave us a steam egg for free for my bro to eat with his rice!

So after dinner round one, Bro wasnt full at all and went opposite for BBQ chicken. The chicken leg was good! but rly spicy as well. Bro was dropping sweat haha.

Dripping sweat but satisfied.

And Gwangali Beach finally! The bridge is really beautiful. I wanted to light fireworks there but the weather was too cold and windy. We were desperately busy snapping some photos and want to get out of there. I was dressed all ready for Summer!

Otw back to rest.

And with my Osulloc Green Tea Swiss Roll from Centum City!

END OF DAY 4! :)
