Italy Trip 2024 Day 2 Part 2 ~ Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel

Walking back to the main area after brunch and the queue was crazy.

Our next stop was the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. It was a bit of a walk and while walking towards the entrance, there was a snaking queue for those who did not purchase tickets online. We had pre-booked our tours so we just walked past everyone and got to the entrance to wait for our entry time.

Initially, I joined the queue, unsure what the queue was for and how long it was, while Turkey went ahead to check it out. Thankfully, we didn't have to queue as the family who was queuing in front of my was still in the queue when we left the Chapel 3 hours later.

No photos in Sistine Chapel but lots of people flouting the rules. We're civilised so we abide by the rules and just sat down to look lol. Honestly, can't really tell what's so special about the painting as many other churches have something similar lol.
