KOREA TRIP JUN 2014 - DAY 6

Start of day 6! Last full day in Busan!

Actually Busan is a rly nice place. Quieter and more peaceful than Seoul and much lesser tourists. Some tourist attractions in Jeju (Seopjikoji and Yongduam Rock) and Seoul (like the palaces esp Gyeongbokgung) has too many tourists and makes taking photos difficult. Esp some tourists who always photo bomb regardless whether on purpose or not. They seemed to know that they’re photo bombing but they refuse to move ><

So we started the day at Busan Tower! It was drizzling when we left hotel. Luckily it was just a short climb up the stairs from Towerhill. It was still early and there was only one tour group ( I think they are ahjussis and ahjummas from other parts of Korea). We were so early, the souvenir store was not even opened yet. We were like the first group to be there to get the tickets to get up the Tower! Not many high rise buildings but can see Gamcheon Cultural Village from here!

The tiles of love plastered on the walls. N Seoul Tower has similar one!

Busan - The city of port.

The surroundings around Busan Tower! I think this dragon is there as that is Yongdusan Park, which meant Dragon Head Mountain park.

After Busan Tower, we walked to PB for breakfast that we went the night before! I rly like PB there. So different from the outlets in Spore! And less crowded. The outlet at Wisma is forever full.

A pict with Cheon Song-Yi! In the rain.

My cuppa coffee! Even though I had a cup before leaving hotel!

Then we walked to 40 steps from PB though the underpass. This is where Running Man threw their slippers! And LKS threw it up to the aircon latch haha. Bro was shy to try at first, but he got the hang of it rather fast and kept trying haha.

Throwing slippers in action. He's actually pretty good at it!

After 40 steps, we proceed to Pusan National University shopping street! It is located at Pusan National University station (duh!) along the same orange line. This isn’t in my original itinerary but we finished the beach day early. Just follow the students and once we exit from the station, we were at the shopping street! Quite a nice shopping street where piggy found his Tate store! With nice young sales girls asking where we’re from and if it’s our first time in Korea.

After shopping for a while, we were hungry and looked for food! We walked into one of the alleys where the restaurants are! This is our one and only bibimbap meal! We tried the Naengmyun but I’ll say I prefer hot soup still anytime! Cold soba isn’t my cup of tea too. :/ The sutbul bibimbap is good though!

Me mixing the Bibimbap!

Bro's share of erm Bibimbap with minimum veg.

Tada! My final piece! (Sorry for the blur photo. Too much actions mixing the Bibimbap haha)

We went to this bag shop along Pusan University street where bro found school bags that’s cheap and light! But there’s no fixed price and every time we asked we’re quoted a different price. We ended up buying bro’s bag from Naughty Cat store which is a very common store you’ll see around main shopping street selling accessories!

Then we proceed to Seomyeon station! I’ve read that this place is where the teenagers visit now rather than Nampodong! Seomyeon is the major interchange station I believed, as it was always crowded. Also along the same orange line. But sadly, the underground mall was more suited for ahjummas. Not sure which exit to go towards shopping street so we ended up just leaving the place soon. :( Not prepared enough for the last minute decision to visit this shopping street.

The only photos we took at Seo Myeon!

Going back towards our hotel area, we decided to explore Lotte Mall area. We wanted to visit on our first day in Busan but it as closed. We dint rly walk in the departmental area though as we already did at Centum city. We just enjoyed the water show and had dinner there. Then, we walked around the area and went back to hotel. Piggy went to run at the gym again at night.

Dinner time!

Dinner was just so so actually. Everywhere was closing soon so we just found a place for dinner.

Quite a cool water show! @ Aqua mall! Teehee.

Then we walked around Nampodong area again! Haha.

Although im not crazy over him, as requested by Bro.

Waffles which smells so nice but actually ok only. ):

And we walked pass this road side stall which Running Man went! Photos as evidence!

Next day morning, we’ll be moving the Seoul! Even before reaching Seoul, my luggage was already heavy as I had been buying cosmetics and skin care products along the way! Gotta review on my haul some day and some reflection. I hope I don't lose the momentum to continue blogging though.

Ok, finally halfway through the travelogue!
