Day 8.
We started the day heading to the famous traditional market for breakfast to experience the local lifestyle! Train down to Jongno-5-ga, exit 8. The perks of staying near Seoul station, we seldom have to change lines!
Gwangjang Market.
This looks lk that stall which offers Song Ji Hyo's team Mandu when they completed the mission early!
So many street food we wanna try! The stall in the middle looks like the one that appears on RM with CNBlue.
Wet and dry food section.
We got there with an empty stomach, wanting to try what running man ate in that ep with CNBlue. We walked around before settling down at a stall in the middle (similar to the one RM had) for the mung bean pancake, Bindaetteok.
Tada! I rly enjoy eating in Korea though we can get cheaper food in Singapore at coffee shops and hawker centres. But there’s always free flow water n tissues available. Unlike the 50 cents charges at restaurants, subjected to gst n service charge too. Tsk. Anw Koreans are rly friendly! The ahjumma and ahjussi sitting beside us asked where we’re from and chatted with us. They tried to converse with us in Eng although they aint good at it. Furthermore, the stall owner speaks mandarin, I believe she came from China as she speaks rly good mandarin. The kind ahjussi saw that we only ordered one Bindaetteok to share and got us another one, telling us that it’s rly good, one isn’t enough! It is rly nice! But it is rather big so we were struggling to finish towards the end. We were so full we dint get to try the drugged kimbap and mandu. What a pity!
GwangJang Market from opposite!
Then our next stop, Jongmyo Shrine! We walked there from GwangJang Market. Alternatively, you can also train down to Jongno-3-ga exit 11.
At the entrance!
Beautiful trees. Looks sunny but cool air.
Photo spam time! ~~
Weather too warm haha. Though definitely cooler than Singapore!
Next stop, Changyeong Gung! Just walking distance away! Walk along the walls of Jongmyo Shrine.
Photo Spam Part II.
Tiring walk up~~
Many pretty birds there!
Taking a break in the big palace!
The palace has such a pretty garden!
Green house!
Thats all for part 1! This is a long day! With lots of walking hehe.
