Qi Bao and Korean Town!

So I've been back from TW for more than a week! And smth bad happened last week, when my bro asked for his jump shot in TW. I found out that I've lost all the photos I've taken in my phone taken in TW. KILL ME PLS T_T

Anw, luckily I had some of it already uploaded on Google drive ( but not all) and some photos with my dad's n bro's phone n piggy's cam. Sigh.

But still, ALOT OF WORK to consolidate the photos n QC.

Anw back to my Shanghai days!

So yea, I was in Shanghai when SG founding father passed away. So I headed down to the Consulate to leave a message. That's about all that the overseas SGeans can do.

I went pretty early but there was a short queue already! But the whole process was fast, pretty efficient!

There were also alot of flowers sent, touching much.

After that, I decided to have brunch nearby at a mall. It was located and the rooftop of a mall! I realised quite a number of new malls are open concept, like Westgate. The mall nearest to German Centre where I stayed was like that too.

Nice design of the restaurant!

I was one of the first customers. Think I was there around 10ish?

One thing I liked about the restaurants and cafes in SH is that they always serve you water before you asked for it! It is free, plus the price you see on the menu is more often than not, nett prices.

My salmon n prawn carbonara. I had Pasta so often in SH that I stopped having that for quite a while in SG haha.

And then, after brunch, I explored around the mall a little. And I saw this!

So EXOPLANET is real? Haha.

After brunch, I decided to head to QiBao, which is like an ancient water town.

At the entrance. Spot the stone.

Going towards the water town.

Finally inside the QiBao!

The Old Street was sooooo crowded. And to think my bro was complaining that JiuFen was crowded. Like "hey, when I was at Shanghai, the density was more than twice ok!" It was so crowded that I was just pushed forward, I dint even stopped to look at anything, I just wanted to get out of the crowded street.

Finally gotten out from the crowded street to a more opened area.

And after that street, I always walked towards the less crowded street. I've never liked crowds. Moreover, I was surrounded by Chinese.

Finally, I saw the water!

Somehow I walked to a 'centre' part of Qibao.

This crowd is not anywhere near the worse.

And I finally ended exploring Qibao. And left. Usually when we go Old street ( like Dan Shiu), we'll definitely get some must try snacks but not when I was in SH. I've never tried the street food there. But I ended up with food poisoning still lol.

And after I'm done with Qibao, it was still rather early and bright, so I headed to Korean Town for dinner! I actually wanted to have KFC from Kyochon, but they dint have those set meals for one. Oh well. :(

So I ended up here at Black Smith, featured in Unexpected You and You're the best, Lee Soon Shin!

Pardon my reflection while taking this photo hahah!

I rly wanted korean BBQ but sadly I went alone so I just had Kimchi Stew. Which I've no idea where the photo went to -.- But here's a photo before the mains! Pumpkin soup, which ermmm I'm not a fan of. Though I know it's famous in Korea for treating face puffiness.

And then, I found a Korean cafe nearby (but actually not that near haha) on Dianping. So I went to hunt for it!

Opened by Koreans!

Went up to level 2.

From level 2, view of level 1.

Indeed a very Korean style cafe!

This is a ceiling deco, which somehow reminds me of IU You and I and Vixx's Eternity MV haha.

My Matcha cheesecake. <3

And just nua there for about 1+ hours? Haha, using the wifi.

Some deco along the stairs!

That's a korean family! Haha.

And I finally embark on my way back home! Haha, felt like a long day cos I went several places that day!
