Taiwan Trip 2015 Day 1

Sorting and tidying up of the photos not done yet. But just to post on day 1 first since not many photos!

Our end of year trip to Taiwan was from 24 Nov - 3 Dec. Waited so long for this! Bought the tickets since End of Jan and waited till End Nov. 10 months wait omg. So long till I lost steam in planning again haha.

And the worst thing that happened was.. that I lost the photos that I took using my phone for the first 2 days. T_T So the photos here are mostly from Bro's and BBFF's camera. And I went Changi Airport again to take some photos lol!

We went the airport pretty early that day. Think we reach about 9 when our flight was at 1140. Wanted to get breakfast there before boarding plane. Had a light breakfast at Kopitiam. I had the breakfast toast set, which was meh.

There were christmas deco already! And there was a coffee machine just round the corner. Changi airport was giving free coffee to celebrate being ranked no 1. We queued for a while but the queue wasn't moving and was told that there's also the coffee booth inside the transit area, so we decided to head to the one inside.

Airport was rather empty then! I had a photo of myself, my ootd photo with the flight schedule but gone with the rest of my photos. Hmph.

There was this too! There were clothes by the side and kids can wear them and get up the spacecraft (?) to take photos. But we were there too early, it wasn't open yet.

We went into the transit area for the coffee! I need my daily dose of coffee.

After having coffee, we went to walk around the transit area. I rmbed reading on some blogs that we can actually try free cocktail and went up to explore.

Unfortunately, we were too early and the bartender wasn't in yet.

There were actually alot more photo which I took before we boarded the flight. Unfortunately, all gone. Even during the flight. :(

So whatever photos I've here are from piggy's and BCX phone only.

Anw I requested for special meal this time round, cos the last time I went Shanghai, both meals had beef and my parents dont take beef. So I requested for seafood meal this time. And the seafood meal came much earlier than the normal meal. Nothing fancy about the in flight meal. Got sick of SQ in flight meal. Gotta try some other airlines next time!

I also requested for a anniversary cake for my parents. Haha. Meant to be a surprise and my mum got a shock, thinking that they wanted to sell her the cake LOL.

In different lighting. They gave us such a big cake! We couldn't finish it and it was a rather good quality chocolate cake! Very gao!

We arrived at Taoyuan airport at about 430pm. Took a rly long while to clear customs. What's worse than having to queue with PRCs. -.- Total lack of discipline tsk.

Anw once we cleared customs, our driver cum tour guide was waiting for us at the airport alr! His car was very new and clean. Took photos of his car but lost it T_T Anw I totally forgotten about the weather cos I waited outside the airport without wearing my jacket. It wasn't cold at all. Was just about air con temp? Sun set rly early at about 5pm during winter and by the time we boarded the car, it was alr 7!

The ride from Taoyuan airport to Taichung Feng Jia took around 1.5 hours almost 2 hours. Reached Feng Jia at around 9. Quickly checked in to the hostel (which I lost the photos again). The rooms actually looks like the photos, just that the exterior is pretty run down. But the location is just right smack in the middle of the crowded part of Feng Jia market!

We quickly head down to the night market once we left our luggage in the room. Agn, due to the lost of photos in my phone, no photos of the food we ate. Just some random photos around the night market.
