Taiwan Trip 2015 Day 7 Part 1 ~ Bei Tou | 北投

Day 7 started with breakfast just opposite where our apartment is!

We had a few items to share! Toast, carrot cake and crepe!






We just grabbed breakfast and ate on the way to the train station. 

First stop of the day, Bei Tou Hot Spring! I planned to visit the public hot spring in the morning!

I liked staying at Taipei Main Station! So convenient as it's the interchange and also where we take the airport bus! Exact same reason why I like staying at Seoul station haha.


Quite a long train ride! All the way Beitou!


Train was quite crowded though it wasn't that early, considering for them to travel to work.

Walked in the direction where the big KFC building is!




Many hot spring resorts along the road up to thermal valley.




The public bath which we planned to visit!



The pretty building behind is the Hot Spring Museum!





A pity that we did not visit the Museum as we're quite rushed for time!

Stream of hot spring gushing downhill! It was smoking hot!











We actually planned to visit the Thermal Valley. Unfortunately, it was closed that day. :(
















Then we walked back to the public bath to queue to enter! They close every few hours for sanitization.

Finally time to enter! Changed into our attire and spent about 2 hours there, including showering!

Mostly local aunties and uncles cos it was a weekday.

On the way back to the train station to the next stop, Dan Shui Old Street!

Finally back to the station!






Then we took the train along the red line to the terminal to our next destination of the day, Dan Shui!

We had breakfast at 8 plus that day and lasted us till 130 then! When we snacked at Dan Shui haha.
