Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas Day 2 Part 2 ~ Penang Day Trip

Now that I'm back from London, I still have yet to resume my planning for Korea! Getting lazier and also did not get back to the LCHF diet. Sobs. Bought too many chocolates and cookies back and always tempted for sugar and carbs :( Gotta hurry plan for the trip and prepare my 密集!

Ok, back to the travelogue~

Then it was time to disembark to explore Penang!

Top down view of them setting up for us to disembark.

Disembarked!

So crowded! Most people disembark to explore around.

Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower right outside the pier.

Crossing the road here was tough due to the roundabout.

Looking back at the huge cruise!

We decided (or rather I decided LOL!) to do a free & easy walking tour around Georgetown!

Taking photo along the way. Was rather sunny, lucky I brought along my cap! And notice the Miji I did and brought along haha.

Doing Mi Ji is a must for my trip! Improvised it from the Switzerland trip by printing it into A5 booklet and use a plastic cover! Must take photo of my Switzerland one haha.

Stopped by a Herbal Tea shop to get some drinks! Weather so hot!

The walk was mainly to walk past the 'landmarks', which are mostly Religious places of Worship.

St George's Church.

Kuan Im Teng | 觀音亭

Short break at the traffic junction! Must thank this walking tour for the calories consumption which helped me not to gain weight after eating so much on cruise haha.

Masjid Kapitan Keling

Yap Kongsi Temple

And from there we walked towards Lebuh Kimberley where the famous food street is!

Settled at a recommended place for Penang Char Kway Teow!

Think only I bothered to take photos haha. Quite sure BCX had something else besides the this. Think it was the Penang style Hokkien Mee which is like Pork Rib Prawn Noodles.

Think it was 5 ot 6RM and came with prawns and fish fillet! But I prefer our SG version anytime cos I like the sweet sauce haha. But then.. By right, I'm on LCHF now

Then we walked to the famous Chendol, which my then boss recommended.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of Chendol.. So I cant tell what's exactly that nice. But there's outlet in JB too!

Alot of Char Kway Teow stalls!

The famous Ban Heang! Got some back to give colleagues.

Otw back towards the pier!

The huge cruise from a distance!

Going back to the cruise!

Wefie with the cruise!

Back in our room. Surprise!

Yes, we get an animal towel with the compass of the day on our bed everyday!

Me taking photo of BCX taking the next photo of the swan haha!

BCX likes the animal towel alot so we took with the swan!

And the night was still early at about 8pm so we head out again!

And at 10pm there was performance at the Promenade area!

Selfie.

And it's time for room service close to midnight!

We din't have the menu in the room so when BCX called, he just randomly ordered some.

We had some cabbage soup, Egg Noodles which was pretty good, Gyoza, Spring Rolls and Honey Strung Chicken!
