Korea Trip June 2017 Day 2 Part 3 ~ 24 Guesthouse Suncheon | 24 게스트하우스 순천, Ji Woo Spa | 지오스파

So since we ended the day early, we settled dinner near our guesthouse. I spotted this eatery selling Tonkatsu the day before while we walked to the right bus stop to take bus to Dolsan Park.

The Sajang -nim and the menu!

There's only Tonkatsu and Cheese Tonkatsu on the menu at 5500 and 7000won respectively. But they do have Odeng Udon too.

We had 3 Cheese Tonkatsu (for me, Piggy and BCX) and the regular Tonkatsu for Daddy and Udon for Mummy.

I had so many Tonkatsu this trip cos it's usually served with big portion of pork, some side salad and abit of rice. Which I kindly donate to BCX haha.

Mum's Udon. I rmb it contained quite a lot of taupok and Odeng.

The banchan that they serve with the Tonkatsu, Danmuji and Kimchi!

And we went next door to get ice cream after dinner!

BCX had his 'shit' ice cream. The name of the ice cream was given 3 yrs ago haha.

And I chose this to share with Piggy! Why look so serious pout.

It's like green tea Magnum? But the green tea flavour wasn't strong.

Then we went back to the guesthouse to nua a while before making our way to the station as we were very early! N i rmb that day to be pretty cool and very windy, about 20C.

Our guesthouse was conveniently located just opposite the Expo. Just cross the street and tada!

Quite a pity that the shops here ain't surviving. Built this for the Expo but became like a ghost town thereafter.

And the Yeosu Expo Station is just behind!

Turtle ship seem to be a landmark in Yeosu.

We bought the tickets to SunCheon in advance which depart at 702pm. We were quite early and waited at the waiting area before it's time for boarding!

We took the Mugunghwa train, which is the cheapest type of train. Only cost 2600krw for a 20 mins ride. The next class of train, Saemaul Line cost almost twice but same duration.

Very old train. Perhaps why it's so cheap. But it's only 20 mins haha.

Unglam shot lol.

Some shots along the way!

The stop in between Yeosu and Suncheon.

Tada! And we arrived at Suncheon at about 730pm.

Dunnkin Donuts is everywhere lol.

Cafes right opposite Suncheon station. Cafe Droptop looks rly nice but we did not get to visit any this trip :(

We quickly checked in at 24 Guesthouse.
The breakfast area!

Our triple room!

And the cafe area where we had supper n breakfast everyday haha. Is a very new hotel and the owner is super nice! Blessing in disguise when the original Airbnb guesthouse closed haha.

We got one Hoddeok each from the street food cart on the way to jijimbang!

Unfortunately, it's not the type that I liked. It's more of like bread with caramel filling. At least it's a big portion! Haha.

So we ate it along the way to Ji Woo Spa.

There's a market place along the way. Many fruits stalls. But fruits are so expensive there, with watermelons that cost S$25 :O

Upon reaching Ji Woo Spa, we're given a locker key. Supposed to keep the shoes in the shoe locker outside which I stupidly thought it was for our belonging hahaha! Till a kind ajumma told us it's for shoes and the one for our belongings is inside. LOL!

Then we separate to change and keep out belongings before going to the Sauna part which is unisex.

Lying down watching TV like what we see in K drama!

There's a eatery which serves hot food too!

And of cos the snack stall which we got sauna eggs from! We got 6 eggs for 4000krw.

The eatery menu.

Lying down lk a local haha.

The steam room.

The second floor has BCX's fav kiap kiap machine lol. Which he did try 6 times but obviously dint win haha.

Even had arcade games n manhwa!

Ji Woo Spa was right beside the station!

We stayed there till about 10 plus using the hot and cold rooms and changed out to go back to shower. We're too shy to use their bath haha. While all of them just walk around in their bday suit.

Then on the way back to the guesthouse, just as I reached the place where I took this photo outside the Suncheon station, I rmb that I left money in the Suana clothes and ran back to get it. Phew.

The cafes close rather late!

And it's part of our routine to drop by convenience store for supper! It's CU this time!
The Kimbap selection.

They even have a bakery section!

Looks interesting but dint get it in the end.

Walked back to our guesthouse.

Where we had our supper!
Brought tea bags along to go with the food we bought.

The Kimbaps for BCX, Piggy and Daddy. 2 Ham with Tuna Mayo and Fried rice with Tuna Mayo.

And the 2 guys got one ramen each lol! The owner kindly helped us prepare these though they also sell instant noodles.
Dad had the spicy one and BCX got a dried version! First time tying the dried version.

Mum and I had chips haha. The Cheese Burger and Butter Caramel flavours we bought from Yeosu.

Tucking in!
