Korea Trip June 2017 Day 4 Part 1 ~ Gwangju | 광주 , Gwangju Apartment - Universiade Hillstate

Finally smth to look forward to! Booked 2 holidays over the last month hehe. Though both are just short trips to Thailand. Looking forward to Dec 2017 trip to Phuket and Jan- Feb 2018 trip to Bangkok! Yes, again to Bangkok haha!

Ok, back to Kr travelogue!

Start of day 4 when we set off to Gwangju!

But before we set off, it's breakfast time!

We quickly packed up and left the hostel! The super friendly guesthouse owner kindly helped us got 2 cabs to send us to the bus terminal!

As there are 5 of us with 3 big luggage and 2 smaller ones, we had to split 2 cabs, each 3000krw! If we were to lug the luggage there via bus, we had to pay 1250krw each. So, it was actually cheaper plus much more convenient to cab there!

There's Issac toast there! Almost at every bus terminal! But we were too full from breakfast.

We got our tickets from the counter. We took the premium coach as that's the nearest time slot plus it was 9100krw, as compared to the regular 7700krw. We had a gd rest on the bus for about 1.5 hours.

We had a good rest and soon we arrived in Gwangju!

U Square!

Finally arrived U Square after a 1.5 hr ride! Our Gwangju Airbnb host kindly met us there to direct us to the apartment.

U Square is big and had lots of food options!

As our host car can only take 3 pax with luggage, Piggy and I took cab down. We weren't able to find them and went around looking for them. But turned out that they took quite a while to reach. Our host showed us around and how to use the gadgets in the apartment. It's a huge and new condo!

Fully furnished and equipped. With body wash, shampoo, rinse (our hair conditioner) and even toothbrush and toothpaste!

After settling down, we took bus to U Square where we had lunch then proceed to Juknokwon.
Our apartment was just 4 bus stops away from U Square. There were only 2 buses at the bus stop right outside the apartment, very convenient!

They have some fried stuff which we can choose and they'll heat up for us. Pretty much like our Yong Tau Foo. Mum got tempted to try after seeing the group of ajumma beside having it.
