Korea Trip June 2017 Day 10 Part 3 ~ Kondae Rodeo Street | 건대로데오거리, Common Ground

Next stop was shopping at University street!

We took 4 stops to Isu and change to line7 for 9 stops to Konkuk University Station, exit 2.

Map right at the exit, so tourist friendly.

Once exit, the streets are lined with street food carts and shops!

Then we chanced upon this snack store!

And got an ice cream each, except Piggy who was coughing. BCX had an additional Hi-Chew, which is still in the fridge lol.

Quite obvious who got what haha.

Then we walked past this cake shop, Cake Butake, which sells all cakes at 10k krw! We got one on the way back to celebrate BCX's birthday.

Lots and lots of food options, we were spoilt for choice!

Ended up in the supermarket again haha.

Such a nice setting in a kiap kiap machine shop! There were quite a few of such shops around, especially at University and main shopping street.

Some pretty popular restaurant!

Went around looking for food.

And settled for this humble and fuss-free eatery!

Food portion was huge and the owner was super friendly. There was this set promotion, which comprised of 2 mains to cater for 2 pax. But she told us that 2 sets would be sufficient for us.

So honest! Till Daddy likes the owner a lot haha.

As usual, we had Tonkatsu! Looks like we had a lot haha. But they're same same but different!

We had fried rice, with Jjajang sauce. Though on the menu they just put as fried rice, I believed they called it Jjajang Bokkeumbap.

Cheese Sweet Potato Tonkatsu. Never seen this anywhere else but it was so good!

Regular Tonkatsu.

Comes with rice and noodles, a little like our mee sua but less salty.

Just look at the spread. How can 4 pax finish this? :O

SGD 20 fed 5 of us to the brim! With free flow water, rice (of cos it was more than enough for us already), Kimchi and radish. I want to move to Korea now!

And on the way back, we chanced upon Jaws Food!

Must try. Just so Daddy and Mummy knows what exactly made BCX like it so much haha.

And we finally head back home!

Not before getting more snacks from Lotte Mart! More mushrooms! And the limited edition Banana milk flavoured Choco Pie which I rmb RM members had when it was new.
