And finally, a long-awaited trip to Switzerland in winter for my Black Belt training!
The dates of the training came quite late and coincided with the dates when my family planned for their KL trip. So, Piggy and Aunty came to join me in Switzerland for a short extended trip.
I flew to Switzerland on 3 Dec 2016 Saturday, via Swiss Air LX179 at 2350 SG time and arrived at 0610 Swiss time. Wanted to make use of the red-eye flight to help with jetlag.
Since I was home alone that day, Piggy came early to fetch me to the airport early for check in and dinner! Decided to have dinner at Soup Restaurant since I would not be having Chinese food for 2 weeks. Luckily, we were early as there was a snaking queue for Soup Restaurant shortly after we were seated!

We had a bit of time left after dinner and took a walk around airport. I rmbed Piggy saying how he passed his IPPT and gotten some bonus and treated me to Godiva chocolate soft serve! Which he raved about.
Bare faced me, ready for my overnight flight and dressed in warm clothing! WIth the chocolate soft serve. Yumz!

I bade goodbye to Piggy and entered the transit area. Loitered around before making my way to the boarding gate.
No one using the PS3, although it was the school holiday season.
There are even PC games available!
Went up to explore the Sunflower Garden. But too late to rly appreciate it haha. But it's just alot of sunflowers la LOL.
And after exploring the Sunflower Garden, I made my way to the boarding gate.

Not alot of entertainment options. Watched this half-heartedly as it is not exactly my type of show. But BCX would like it!
Dinner and breakfast menu! Though it's supposed to be more like supper, since I already had dinner at around 7pm haha.
Supper was served shortly. As I dont fancy beef, I chose the Mushroom Tortellini.
Comes with Gyuere cheese!
Mushroom Tortellini was good actually, just a little too heavy as a supper haha.
Had Orange Juice and White Wine to help me sleep.
After dinner service, the lights were dimmed for us to nap. Unfortunately, I still couldn't sleep after having the White Wine. Coupled with the not so great entertainment system, time passed slowly.
Went to the gallery to get some snacks to pass time. Made instant soup to warm myself up as well!

Finally, about 2 hours before arrival, the lights were lit and breakfast was served!

Upon reaching Zurich, I cleared the customs and caught a connecting flight to Geneva. Shall continue that in the next post!
