Day 4 in Switzerland, day 3 of work!
Started the day with heavy breakfast at hotel again haha.
Had some fuits and Bircher Muesli while waiting for my omelette.
Always have a portion of Smoked Mackerel~
And of cos, end off with pastries! Took the bigger butter croissant and OMG, it's so much more buttery and fragrant than the mini one! Oh ya, and it was from this trip that I started liking cheese! I used to totally ignore the cheese section at buffets, but no more now!
After having my 3 course breakfast, we headed out to work!
And after about 3.5 hours of training, it's time for lunch agn!
Looks like another 3 course meal huh haha. Salad with thinly sliced chicken breast fillet with mushroom sauce and lots of fries! Vanilla yogurt and Movenpick ice cream for desserts! Chose the Movenpick Espresso Croquant Ice Cream - Crunchy caramelized hazelnut pieces and an aromatic coffee sauce enrich this creamy espresso ice cream.. Sounds totally like my cup of tea!
After work, we decided to head to Coop for dinner, having seen lots of ready to eat meals there. Unfortunately, we were there too late by Swiss standards :( Even the cafe there had very limited choices.
Ended up just taking some eggs and veg with hot chocolate!
Luckily, I had the Bircher Muesli I got on Day 1! Even after few days, it's still wet and thoroughly soaked. Think I've been adding insufficient liquid to my overnight oats!
The following day was the last day of training for the first part of my Black Belt training in Vernier!
Attempted to start the day healthier.
Took a gluten free bread and had peanut butter with hard boiled eggs. Seemingly low carb breakfast.
But failed when I succumb to having small portion of granola with sunflower seeds, hazelnuts and yogurt!
Tried to be healthier with fruits!
The range of tea available daily!
There was some Christmas Lunch Special that day! Unfortunately, not a big fan. Starter was Foie Gras with toast and jam, main was some beef I think! The only thing I finished was the chocolate log cake!
So, I ended up getting Natural yogurt and Movenpick ice cream again! Ice cream with Double Creme from Gruyère, meringue pieces coated with white chocolate and caramel sauce.
And after dinner, I went to get some perfume home!
Picked 7 back as gifts!
And after the final day of training, there was a team bonding event - Ice Skating before dinner!
My first ice skating experience!
I gave up after a short while cos I cant balance and the shoes were too uncomfy for my bunions.
And after our team bonding ice skating, we made our way to our dinner venue!
I like how they always serve complimentary bread and butter!
The starter I chose - Smoked Salmon salad.
Had Swiss Beer and Spritz again! The Malt Beer is quite nice!
Mains of Chicken in cream sauce, served with rice. Many of them were puzzled why I dint touch rice though I'm Asian..
Is just like how people here assume I dont take rice cos I'm on a diet -.-
Then it was time for desserts! The menu was in French so they had to describe the desserts for us to choose lol. This was one huge slice of cake which made us all O.o
Chose a citrusy one! But it wasnt what I expected haha.
Had a Latte to end off the meal!
This was where we had our team dinner!
Ended the day rather late and went back to rest for our final day of training!
