Switzerland Trip Dec 2016 Day 11 Part 3 ~ Bern

So after Gurten, we're back to explore Bern Old Town again haha.

Same marketplace as the Christmas Market we visited the day before.

There's even market stalls there!

Was the first time seeing Romanesco broccoli haha.

Some iconic building that I just had to take photo of haha.

Back here agn haha.

Planned to visit the Einstein Museum.

We din't visit the museum, not sure if it's cos the admission is not cheap or we're simply just not sophisticated enough to be interested haha.

Chanced upon this pretty place which I included as optional to visit if time permits.

The Schwellenmätteli is the site of the river threshold, which serves to regulate the flood water. The Schwellenmätteli Restaurant extends out over the waters of the Aare River. Guests can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and fine drinks on the terrace, with the sounds of the water rushing and splashing around them. The Schwellenmätteli lends an air of holiday relaxation to each visit.

After leaving this area, we went back to the main train station to get dinner from Coop.

Got a half Rotisserie  Chicken.

Salad with prawn at discount! As we visited rather late and think this was kept overnight already.

Garden Salad and Tuna Salad.

Completed with coffee/ tea and dessert haha. Quite a complete meal isn't it haha.
