Day 3 morning, photo taken from our hotel room. Since we couldnt see much from the night before. Feels very different in Bosnia as compared to other countries we're visiting this trip.
Trying to take a close up photo of the cross on top of the hill. There aint many tall buildings, Hotel Mepas is probably the tallest in the area. Can see the Sniper Tower in the distance.
But before we start exploring the town, we need our daily fuel of the day! Wholesome breakfast spread.
Mine. Ahem, looks alot bigger than his?
His.
After a filling breakfast, we went back to the room to wash up and check out. Our level has a presidential suite right outside the lift.
After checking out, first stop was Sniper Tower. It isnt an official tourist attraction but more of an abandoned building which was a former bank and used by Snipers during the Bosnian War.
Snapped some photos from the outside.
I dint dare to enter cos it felt unsafe to climb but Piggy did while I waited outside.
And we left shortly to our next stop.

Walking towards the old town.
The main area. But super sunny!
Pardon for the revealing dressing - I intended to wear a layer inside but it was just too warm! I had to kept rolling up my sleeve.
Initially, we thought this was the famous Stari Most, and was disappointed.
And while we were taking photos here, a local came and offered to take a photo for us. And trying to sell his service as a guide. But honestly, there's no need for a guide and we just want and like exploring around ourselves. He ended up leaving after passing some crude remarks, but good riddance! The photos were taken halfheartedly, when my eyes were closed -.- and prob spoil our day as well with his attitude.
As we walked to the other side, we spotted the real Stari Most!
Crossing over to where the crowd is.
Crossed over to the road. Very different vibe.
And back. Gotta pay entrance fee to enter but honestly nth much to see!
We got tired of walking round the same place so we found somewhere to take a break and hv a snack.
Stay tune for the next part!
