Europe Trip Sep/Oct 2019 Day 6 Part 1 ~ Stari Grad, Napoleon, Hvar Old Town

Day 6 now! Walking towards the car from our apartment.

Some shots on the way to our first stop, Stari Grad.

Stari Grad - famous for the UNESCO Protected World Heritage Site of the Stari Grad Plain

Sky super dark...

The water was about to overflow.

We decided on a cafe at a corner for breakfast, just before it started pouring. Lucky!

We had a smoked salmon omelette and scrambled eggs with ham with toast (and butter which they charge for)!

And then, it started pouring super heavily and we're kinda stranded there. Supposed to go up the Cross at Glavica Hill but we were stuck in the rain. Can kinda see the cross from where we were in the distance.

We waited for quite some time and decided to leave once the rain lightens. But I recalled once we ran to the supermarket, the rain became much heavier. And even when we wanted to buy an umbrella, they don't sell. So piggy braved the rain using my small umbrella and drove over.
And since we had time to spare, we found somewhere to go for some views where we can drive up to.

The Napoleon. Which we read that we can visit on Google, but when we arrived, we were told it's restricted entry lol. But it indeed has a nice view, given that we could drive all the way up in the weather.

Thereafter, we went back to the Old Town. We rested in our room first as it was still drizzling after getting some food from the Spar supermarket. Rainy day calls for some hot soup.

Once the rain more or less stops, we headed out to the old town to walk!

Then we stopped by to have some acai where we saw the day before. Still prefers our AAA though.

A rly pretty hotel at the bay.

That's all for the first part!
