Matcha Choco scone from the Yeonnam dong Cafe Honesta bakery the day before for breakfast!
Very different texture from the usual scone.
We left pretty early to check in our luggage at the Seoul station and left our carry on in the RE office below the apartment at check out.
We then walked towards the bus stop to take bus to Samcheongdong.
There were some protest outside the station.
Samcheongdong was just a short bus ride away. Save us the effort climbing up the slope.
Came here to try the famous Egg drop!
There was quite a q. We had to order first n wait for our order to be ready. There are only very limited seats too.
We walked around abit before heading back to wait for our toast.
Waited quite a while for our breakfast part 2!
We had the garlic bacon with cheese! So it's coated in garlic butter~
Continuing with exploring SCD after our satisfying breakfast.
Chanced upon this interesting hanok museum. Best part, it's free entry!
Back to the main SCD side, lined with lots of restaurants and cafes.
Getting quite warm so I just removed my cardigan.
Looking at Bukhansan from SCD lol.
I recalled turkey receiving a call about MPC while going down the stairs -.-
Super crowded Sujebi! But it's basically like our mee hoon kuey? #totallynotinterested
This is another famous eatery here, the sweet redbean porridge. But I'm not a fan of porridge...
Q got longer nearing lunchtime.
Rmb taking a break here the last time we were here with my family.
Trees were shedding.
Had our last bbq meal before heading back. Ordered 2 sets to try the highly raved Hanwoo. Pretty expensive but we had quite alot of krw left lol.
Ending the meal with a sweet berry drink and orange slice.
After lunch, we continued our exploration around the SCD area.
We rested here at the Queen Kona cafe the first time after a long walk up the slope.
Recalled there were a couple of students performing magic tricks here.
Walking towards Insadong.
Tada, the cultural street.
Cant leave Korea without a dose of Osulloc
Had a Matcha swiss roll and Hojicha ice cream.
Here again. Though there's actually nothing much here, but will always drop by lol.
A relatively quiet mall as compared to the other parts of the streets.
We got out of the Insadong area and walked towards Gwanghwamun since we had qutie abit of time left.
Interesting place in the middle of the CBD area.
I think this is one of the office buildings.
With a Starbucks Reserve outlet.
Another Luft Coffee outlet nearby!
We wanted to look for dinner options on the way but as it is the CBD area, it's pretty quiet on a weekend. One of the few places open was a KFC restaurant tucked in one corner.
Their typical snacks while having fried chicken with beer.
We had the original fried chicken! Yummy! Makes me crave for KFC so bad now :(
The sun has set by the time we finished dinner.
Back here. They were commemorating the Sewol ferry incident.
We then took the subway back to Seoul Station and catch the Arex to Airport.
Got delayed by 20 mins -.-
And as it's a new terminal, most of the shops were closed by the time we arrived except for the cafes/ restaurants. But we already had our dinner so we just loitered around the transit area.
Everything is closed except Lotteria.
Finally time for boarding! Changed into comfy slippers.
He had seafood bee hoon while I had chicken with potatoes.
Sweet potato salad as appetiser.
Ice cream for dessert! I think red carpet is strawberry?
Simple cake and wine for our return flight. And thereafter, it's time to snooze!
Arriving into Singapore.
The newly renovated T1.
The skincare and make up loot from Kr after unpacking!
Was abit kiasu to get more better quality masks in prep for the wedding while saving without going for facial.
Etude house.
Nature Republic.
Free set of hand cream from NR. Endorsed by EXO.
TFS loots. Since almost every MUA charge extra for Ampoule, I got my own lol, rather than paying $20 for one shot, I got 35ml worth.
All the lipsticks. Not all mine though since I dont use very much, half are for mummy.
It's skin, TM, the SAEM and Holika.
That's all for our PWS trip to Korea!
