New Zealand Trip 2023 Day 4 Part 1 ~ Coromandel, Driving Creek Railway, Waiau Falls

Started the day with breakfast near our motel! Was still pretty cloudy in the morning.

The first attraction of the day was the Driving Creek Railway. We arrived slightly early to be safe.


Waited around for a while before the tour sets off at 10:30am.

A little like Puffing Billy Railway, just slower and more manual lol.





Got really sunny! What a change since morning during breakfast!








Stopped at the peak - Eyefull Tower.

We tried using Insta360 to take welfie there but wasn't really sucessful. Havent gotten good shots using it tbh. Kinda felt like wasted money on it. :/ 



The guide helped us to take photos as we looked like we were struggling lol.






Next stop was Waiau Falls.


Low effort falls lol.




Then we head to visit the Cathedral Cove. It was in our original plan back in Apr 2020 but only got to visit this trip. The track was destroyed by the cyclone so the only way to view it is by boat. We initially booked with Seacave Adventures but they cancelled on us on the day itself after confirming my attendance the day before -.-
Luckily, we found another service provider which is still going ahead and book the trip with them.

Sky was pretty dark again.
