Korea Trip 2024 Day 1 ~ Flight to Incheon, Jeju, Lotte Hotel Jeju, 신우성흑돼지

Last trip with just the 2 of us. First time flying out from T2 after so long and we decided to head to airport early and visit the T3 lounge since our flight is only taking off at 230am and usually T2 lounge has nothing much left. 

Had my usual spread, including laksa, while he had a healthier version of meatball soup.

We left the lounge later than expected and walked a long way from T3 to T2 as we missed the skytrain and had to wait 8 mins for it. Ended up walking quite abit and luckily our gate was one of the nearest from T2. Guess the last bit of exercise before being stationary for 7 hours lol.

Got the bulkhead seats thanks to Turkey's PPS status, though not much benefit for medium haul flight. Wore compression stockings to prevent swelling.

No alcohol for this flight so I requested for milk as pre-flight drink to help me slp lol!

After seatbelt sign is off, tried to slp abit before waking up for breakfast.

My BTC of Nasi Lemak. Ate too much rice, think I finished at least 3 quarter of it omg.

His Yakiniku which was really good. 

After touching down at Incheon, we took the Airport Train to Gimpo to transfer to Jeju. Visited the KAL lounge since we flying Business Class.

We just took a break while waiting for boarding at the lounge, drank some water and I had some Butter Waffle.

On board Korean Air to Jeju. Pleasantly surprised by the amount of leg space lol. This puts Lufthansa  Intra Europe Biz class to shame.

No food service on flight, just drinks and the actual flight time was v short, prob just 30 mins in air. But we could lie flat for 30 mins which was a plus.

After touching down at Jeju, we headed straight to collect our car and drove to Lotte Hotel Jeju.

First time staying in such a nice hotel for holidays since we usually stay out most of the day.

After settling down and resting a little in room, we came down to explore the hotel facilities.

Plan was to walk the trails but we decided to swim first! And ended up not walking the trail at all lol.

Got a new swim suit to accommodate belly lol.

Pool was empty as it was cleaning time.

After soaking on the pool a while, we walked around the hotel building before heading out for dinner.

Ordered the medium set.

Back to hotel for some night photos after dinner. 

 Rested for the night since we didnt get much sleep the night before on the flight. That's all for day 1 in Korea!
