Next stop was Covent Garden!
Pretty crowded but good vibes!
Took photos of this cos I got reminded of the hotel which we stayed in Switzerland! Remembered they used Rituals toiletries! It's quite an atas brand, considering they have their standalone stop at the city centre of London!
The highlight - Covent Garden Market.
Rows and rows of shops~
In the market place!
Hotel Chocolat!
Chocolate heaven!
An interesting lifestyle shop. But pretty expensive. Oh well, it's London~
Walked past a M&S and cant resist taking photo of the chocolate lane.
Pret A Manger! Rly liked their coconut flat white! I've yet to find any equivalent in SG, though there's an outlet in Changi Airport (but so expensive!) The Coconut coffee that I got from SG uses coconut oil.
Took a walk back towards our apartment instead of taking train.
The casino.
London Chinatown.
Korean/ Japanese snacks.
Our traditional bakery.
The breads are like same price as those found in our neighbour bakeries but in GBP lol.
The famous Burgers & Lobsters!
We walked back towards Chinatown as we weren't hungry enough for dinner.
More Chinese vibes than our Chinatown?
Specializes in Singaporean & Msian cuisine!
Reminds me of TW~
We had the cheaper alternative of B&L lobster roll, Smack Lobster Roll with Superfood Salad!
Close up of lobster roll.
After dinner, we walked past Patisserie Valerie, a franchised bakery with lots of bakes!
We felt greedy and bought 4 cakes to go lol. Since we have the fridge in the apartment for us to keep.
The owner kindly prepared information for the tenants, which I took a photo of for reference.
The famous bakery, Cutter and Squidge, right beside our apartment! But quite expensive considering it's a small cafe.
Walking towards Carnaby Street.
Went to Real Food, which sells high quality groceries.
I used to like this in supermarkets overseas as we don't have that in SG. But now, is getting more common!
Found the lemon flavoured yogurt!
Finally, went back to the apartment to rest for the day. Loot of the day! All food haha.
Only the dark chocolates are for me, the rest are special request from my mum who likes the M&S cookies.
The 4 slices of cakes which we ate over the span of 3 days from Patisserie Valerie.
Cross section - to focus on my millefeuille haha.
Finally i've come to the end of our first day in London!
