New Zealand Trip 2022 Day 10 Part 1 ~ Scroggin Coffee and Eatery, Mount Iron

Here at Scroggin Coffee for breakfast! Was recommended this by Dane and Stacey and pretty good reviews.

Pretty place~

The menu.

My usual long black.

ONE HANDER
Bacon | lightly scrambled egg | avocado | gouda | housemade tomato jam | aioli | milk bun bap

CAPRESE GRILLED CHEESE
Walnut basil pesto | tomato | buffalo mozzarella | smoked gouda | sourdough | side mixed greens

Our plan was to head to Rob Roy Glacier followed by Mount Iron but the weather forecast was not in our favour and we decided to head to Mount Iron first since it is nearer to the city centre.

Dogs are allowed on this track and I underestimated the track lol. Forgot that actually dogs are fitter than I am haha.

Started wearing the jacket, with the cloudy sky.

But as we climbed, it got really sunny.

Though the sky still looks very cloudy, I recalled trying to find some shade to hide but the main track has no shade at all.

This part is blue sky!

After we're done with Mount Iron, we wanted to check on the weather condition at Rob Roy at the DOC office since the drive there is 1.5h. Unfortunately, they were closed and we headed to the I-site, where they recommended the Rocky Mountain instead where the weather forecast is better. So we decided to head there instead, which wasn't the best option. To be continued in the next post.
