New Zealand Trip 2022 Day 15 Part 1 ~ Milford Sound

Day 15 was again another rainy day. Started the day early as we needed to drive to Milford Sound for the tour. We wanted to wait for the famous pies at Miles Better Pies but we were too early and the baker was still kneading the dough when we arrived. So the other option that was opened at that time was 
Wapiti Bakery & Cafe Restaurant. Had a pie and sausage roll for breakie. 


After breakfast, we started the scenic drive toward Milford Sound. 

The first stop is the Eglinton Valley. Supposed to look way prettier than this and the fog doesn't do this place justice. 








Stopped over to try taking some nice photos from the car as it was raining. 






The snow-capped mountains which turkey said look like the sugar icing on chocolate lava cake.

AT Monkey Creek, which seems to be frequented by Kea.



















Met a German couple and he spammed lots of photos for us lol. 
At least the sky looks blue here!
