New Zealand Trip 2023 Day 16 Part 1 ~ Weta Workshop, The Larder

Day 2 in Wellington and still raining. We drove down and I had to make a run to the entrance as Turkey went around to look for a lot. We took the first slot so had to wait outside before Weta workshop open.


As we were early (we arrived according to the instructions, 15 mins early) and took some photos in the shop.










The tour was pretty interesting though I wasn't a LOTR fan. No photos inside but it was memorable. After the tour, we took some more photos before we left.

















After the tour, we had brunch near the cafe. The Larder was pretty well-rated and it was nice and warm given how rainy the weather was.

We chilled at the cafe for a while before heading to the airport. We topped up petrol, returned the car and finally arrived at Wellington Airport. To be continued in the next post!
