New Zealand Trip 2023 Day 19 Part 1 ~ Mrs Woolly's General Store, Routeburn Flats Hut

Day 19 is the Routeburn Hike! We decided to grab a heavier breakfast at Mrs Woolly's instead of at Glenorchy Base Camp.
Such a nice place for some alfresco brunch!





After breakfast, we drove to the Routeburn Shelter Parking to start the hike.



Hiking through the same route so we didn't take many photos and just power through and only started taking photos from the swing bridge where we turned back the day before.














Parts of the trail were pretty shaded from the trees, else the sky was pretty clear and gets warm when hiking.













Stopped along this stretch and took several photos lol.



Met a friendly lone hiker who helped us take photos together, who planned to hike to the Flats Hut and turn back.












Forge Flat, where we stayed here for a while to marvel at how clear and cool the water is.
